An increase of fat quantity in the double chin zone could exist due to overweight or hereditary characteristics. With this procedure we can achieve fat elimination but not the skin excess.
Currently, when there is a slight flaccidity it can be used the VASER that allows the collagen to contract and for to much skin contraction. If the patient has a medium or severe flaccidity, he/she should use to the cervicoplasty or the Rhytidoplasty.
An incision of 0.5 cm is performed in the lower part of the chin under local anesthesia and lasts 30 minutes. A chin cap shall be used (a bandeau in the double chin) 24 hours the first 5 to 7 days and then only at nights.
