Frontoplasty or forehead lift surgery is a procedure that improves and restores a fresh and juvenile aspect of the frontal area. This procedure corrects eyebrows drops and improves expression lines that makes people look like tired, sad or in a bad mood.
This surgery is also called “SURGERY OF THE GAZE”, or surgery of cheeks lifting.
This surgery is suggested for patients between 35 and 45 years old that start feeling the gravity effects and a drop of the cheekbones and cheeks tissues and furrows around the mouth and still do not have plenty skin excess to think about a rejuvenescence or Rhytidoplasty surgery.
Some patients present a volume increase of the cheeks as the fat bag enlarges (or bichat bag) that are located internally. There are some maneuvers to detect if extracting the bags the patient shall obtain a real change as in some people the cause is not the fat bag but a fat accumulation in the superficial layer of the cheeks and can be solved with a vaser lipolysis in this zone.
Some patients present a major ear separation in relation with the skull which we call “screen ears”. This characteristic is observed in children and can be corrected around the age of six as is the age when the children start having self-esteem problems and victims of cruel nicknames at school.
